- It's update time! Here's some info on what I've been up to lately.
I played bass on upcoming releases by Chris Cornell & Celine
Dion, and I also shot a music-video with a new band called 'Against
All Will'. Scroll down for more info:
Chris Cornell
- Last week I tracked bass on a song for Chris Cornell. This was
an amazing experience, getting to sit back and watch Chris sing
along to all the drum takes, and listening as the melody of the
song took shape. Stay tuned for more info on a release date.

Celine
Dion - The release date has been set for
the new Celine Dion CD that I played bass on. It is called
"Taking Chances". Click the album cover for more

Against All Will
- I recently played bass on the upcoming debut EP from the new
band, Against All Will. The band features Jimmy Allen, who co-wrote
some of Puddle of Mudd's biggest hits. I also appeared in their
music video for the song "You Can't Change Me". Click

Kelly Clarkson
- The Kelly Clarkson CD that I played bass on, "Breakaway"
has been certified 5 times platinum in the US, with sales reaching
5 Million. The album also produced two Grammy Awards. One for
Best Pop Vocal Album, and another for Best Female Pop Vocal
Performance, for the song 'Because of You'.

for visiting the newly redesigned MartyOBrien.com. It's been quite
some time since my website has been updated with current news,
so now that this new design is up, I'll fill you in on some of
the CD's that I've played on recently.....

- "Married
to the Wreckage" . 5 tracks, and it includes a DVD too that
has lots of videos, & a behind-the-scenes video of us recording

- No release
date set. I recently played on two songs, set to appear on her
newest CD, due for release by the end of the year.

Hana Pestle
- No release date set
just yet, but you will love this album. Produced by Ben Moody
& Michael "Fish" Herring. Composer / Arranger David
Campbell provided the most amazing orchestral arrangements on
the tracks. I played on every song, and we really spent a lot
of time on the bass. I got the chance to get a few different tones
throughout the album using my fretless , 5-string, as well as
my 61' Fender Pbass on many of the songs. Click the banner below

Lesley
Roy -
A new singer
from Dublin, Ireland who is signed to Jive Records. We worked
at The Record Plant in Hollywood, where I played on two songs
for her upcoming debut album. I loved the two songs I played on,
and I'm really looking forward to hearing the full length release!
